I am a currently a senior, graduating in May. I have never blogged or been a part of new media before. This is a new medium and new idea that I am exploring to educate myself on where media is going in the future, as well as an opportunity to become part of the changing industry as it is evolving.
I am accustomed to basic mediums, such as television, radio, magazines, and the Internet. The notion that media is becoming interactive and that the individual’s opinion has more of an effect on the industry is a topic that I am extremely interested in. Instead of large corporations dictating the media content that is available, consumers have the power to choose what types of media and information they wish to consume.
